Nick and Pilar had the most beautiful 3 Day Destination Wedding in Cartagena, Colombia. It started with a welcome rooftop happy hour, followed by island hopping the next day, and a rehearsal dinner at a historic house the day before the wedding.
It was one of the first times I’m like, “GOSH I wish I were a guest!” Guest experience is paramount and having a destination wedding with activities is ALWAYS a good idea!
Planning a wedding is no joke. And planning a destination wedding is even harder. That is why you NEED a planner who can recommend local vendors. You need a professional running the entire day so you can kick back and actually enjoy your wedding day. That is one mistake brides make, not having a planner. The minimum should be a day of planner but full planning is where it’s at because it includes design.
