Meridian House Summer Wedding

Mo and Lauren had the most perfect Meridian House summer wedding. One of my favorite part of the wedding is the floral design and Porter and Ives rocked this one. Her choice of using berries brought all the details and the reception design together. That’s why I always tel my brides to ask the florist for loose flowers for detail shots. They make a HUGE difference. Can we also talk about this welcome gift for their guests?

Ladies and gentlemen, this picture below is WHY you do not skip on a first look. This is the opportunity to be alone for ten minutes of your wedding day and to take it all in. It allows you two to really express your emotions without all the guests watching you. I love how this intimate moment allows my bride and grooms to slow the day down. It also allows for more time for pictures, which means more pics! Brides, find out how to make a timeline with a first look here.

My favorite images of the wedding day turn out to be the least posed and spontaneous moments. Mo and Lauren chose to leave their reception for a few moments to be alone and get some pictures in the courtyard. And this is one image that totally reflects these two as husband and wife:
